Welcome to our CLC Encounter 2025

The annual gathering of members of the Christian Life Community in Malta

Mount St Joseph Retreat House, Mosta | 7-9 November

An Encounter with God and ourselves through the Spiritual Exercises

This is where our journey begins.
Or proceeds. Or deepens.
Wherever you may be on your Ignatian journey,
this is where we invite you
to take another step towards fullness!

Preparatory Material

In this booklet, sent to all our communities in September, you will find material that will help you and your community prepare for this year's CLC Annual Encounter.

Our Programme

This year we will be proposing a deep and very significant journey of faith.
We invite you to make the best of the full programme from Friday to Sunday.

How to Book Your Place

Kindly read the booking guidelines
before filling in the booking form.
There are many options and rates
to choose from.
Most importantly, be present :)

Please note that the full weekend is equivalent to TWO days (not three) when calculating your rates. Kindly read the guidelines for different options.

Sessions & Workshops

Discover new meaning and depth.
Friday session by Fr Oliver Borg Olivier SJ, Saturday Keynote Presentation
by Fr Cecil Azzopardi SJ.
All participants will attend a choice of workshops, each beautifully constructed to give you an experience of different facets of the journey towards and through the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius.

The Children's Encounter

Register your children for the Children's Encounter using the same Encounter Booking Form used for your own booking. Please book early so the Children's Team can prepare the crafts or activities for your child in good time.

This year we have many new members in our Children’s Team! Every year this team works very hard to put together a fun and formative weekend for our children aged 3+ following a similar theme to the adults' Encounter and giving the children a character to play, with related activities.
This year the children will be Explorers :)

God's purpose in creating us is to draw forth from us a response of love and service here on earth, so that we may attain our goal of everlasting happiness with him in heaven.”
